This picture was sent in by Cheryl Harris ~ some of the girls are not in our class and some of the names have question marks beside them ~ we just aren't sure.  Eleanor Austen is remarkable at pulling the names of people from her memory bank.  Thank you, Eleanor.

This picture was sent in by Connie Sherlock and Wanda Walston ~ some of  the names are missing....any classmate who can identify the person, let me know (singo2@frontier.com)

David Van Dusen sent in this picture of a church group ~ Classmates in the group include

Doug Young,  Mrs. Daveis, Richard Cox, David Sward,

Gray Jordan, Dave Van Dusen, Steve Granthem. John Feese, Bob Cole, Jan Ashby, Doug Bedient, John Anderson.

Penny Wright sent in a most interesting web site ~ You Tube Time Machine ~ it is advertised as a way to "say goodbye to an afternoon".  I can attest to this....I spent a long time looking around the site ~ what memories it brings back ~ a Kool-aid commercial in 1959 and a JFK political advertisement in 1960 are just a couple that I spotted.  If you have some time, take a look at yttm.tv or go to this site and read how You Tube Time Machine was born.

This is an article about Rex's hamburgers....Remember the days of going to get 20 hamburgers for $1.00?

This is a copy of the school rules in 1935...these classmates must have needed rules as much as we did a generation later.  Page two of the rules is below.  The next three pictures were found at the museum in Alliance by Sharon's cousin Judy Mann.

And our high school floor plan

Dick Graham sent in this picture of the 1935 AHS Graduating Class with his Dad in the picture.  After scrutinizing the picture I realized that my aunt, Maxine Donovan Phillip, was also in the picture.  I sent the picture to Maxine's daughter, Judy Phillip Mann, and she did a lot of leg work and finally came up with the second copy of the picture below complete with the names.  Dick's whole idea of sending the picture was to see if any other classmates had a parent in the picture.  I think Gary & Sharyn Jordan's father is there.  Are there any others.  Let me know.

Included in the picture are parents listed below.  Any other classmate have parents in this picture??

Sent in by Dick Graham ~ This picture is of a suprise birthday party for me and not sure of my age ~ Junior High, I suspect.    In order from left to right:  Not sure who has his back to camera (possibly Loren Studt? or Clyde Darveau?),  David Van Dusen, Mark Lotspeich, Doug Bedient, Dick Graham, Terry Hahn, and Ron Mischnick......think that is my sister's head at the bottom.   We lived at 417 Big Horn then so was before my 16 birthday.
Sent in by Dick Graham ~ the picture of Doug Bedient and me would be when we started college at the University of Wyoming.  He used to drive that car back and forth sometimes.

This picture was sent in by Glenda Harvey (left to right in picture ~ Carolyn Cole, Glenda Harvey, Betty Lurvey, Konnie Herman, and Diana Smaha).  Glenda writes: "Wasn't there something called 'crazy days'?   I am thinking this is what this picture was all about".

This is a picture of Emerson School's Kindergarten class sent in by Mary Lou Reno.  According to Mary Lou, "The class picture was taken at the old Emerson School.  I think that it was the last year that the old building was in use.  The classroom was phenomenal.  From the left, was the brick house of The Three Little Pigs, then a unit on Mexico and finally the playhouse.  As I recall, the playhouse was only two sides because it fit in a corner.  Our teacher was Mrs. Lucile Kriegsmann.  Obviously, she worked very hard to make kindergarten a great experience for us."  from Mary Lou ~ "In the Kindergarten picture I can identify just a few - mostly girls: from left:  window of brick house Wanda Jines, door Wanda Walston, on floor Pam Hall; Connie Keller; boys sitting in Mexico center Loren Studt, Charles Petersen; boy in front of sign Andy Sutton; Mary Lou Reno by door of playhouse; Art Flores in front of me; Connie Gericke in window of house."

This is the Senior Class "Down to Earth" play bill sent in by Jacki Vallentine.  Unfortunately, I had to change it from .pdf format to .jpg for this Blog, so you will see a watermark on the document.  Sorry.

The next five pictures are from Roger Brooks' collection

The majorettes at the 1960 Homecoming parade ~ probably Julianne Hempel in the lead position

As I recall, this picture was taken March 17, 1959 at the Alliance Shelter House.  It was the 16th birthday party for Wanda Walston and Sharon Phillip.  (double click on picture for a larger view ~ names are on the picture).

This is another picture at the same party.

The caption on this picture shows 1953 ~ a Camp Fire Group at Sharon Phillip's home ~ Judy VonTour took the picture.

From Betty Lurvey ~ Betty Lurvey and Jerry Culp (probably 1960 or 1961)

This pictures was too good to not share since the three of us are from the graduating class of 1961 ~ Sharon Phillip, Sharan Sallquist, and Janice Phillip, probably 1945 when this picture was taken ~ sent to me by Sharan Sallquist

These two web sites will bring back memories

If any of you have any pictures you would like added, just email them to me ~ Sharon ~ singo2@frontier.com
