The 1961 50th Class Reunion will be held in Alliance on

Friday, Saturday and Sunday,

August 19, 20, and 21, 2011

Friday evening ~ casual dress code ~ 6 pm to 10 pm

A get together to be held at Janice Phillip Lawrence's home ~ 1640 Emerson
All classmates are encouraged to bring their own drinks
Hor d'oeuvres will be provided

Saturday ~ casual dress code ~ 9 am to ????????

All events will be held at the Newberry's** building. 

Breakfast to be served beginning @ 9 a.m. ~ coffee, water, tea, rolls, fruit
Lunch to be served at Noon ~ pizza or sandwiches
Catered Buffet with a no host bar  at the Events Room of Newberry's

A tour of the new Alliance National Veteran's Cemetery will be arranged for those interested
A tour of the Knight Museum will be available from 10 am to 5 pm
A tour of the Sallows Military Museum will be available from 1 pm to 5 pm

Sunday ~ casual dress code ~ 10 am
Brunch at Hoffhaus (hosted by Rosa Lee Cornette Hoff), 508 East Fourth

A block of rooms will be reserved at the Holiday Inn and Day's Inn ~ cost of these rooms will be determined on November 2nd at the next reunion committee meeting.  Cost of attending the reunion will be determined later.  Deadline for getting your information in for the booklet will be determined later. 

**Newberry's Building has been purchased by a couple of young Alliance businessmen.  It has been remodeled extensively.  Their Facebook site shows some pictures of the newly remodeled event room
