Committee Meeting, November 2

These are notes provided by the committee after their November 2nd meeting:

Fri. Aug. 19: Janice Phillip Lawrence's home ~ 1640 Emerson  6:00-10:00
Classmates BYOB  Committee provides Hor d'oeuvres,  coffee, tea and water.

Saturday, Aug. 20: casual dress code ~ 9 am to ????????

 All events will be held at the Newberry's building.  Check sent-Contract signed 

Breakfast beginning @ 9 a.m. ~ coffee, water, tea, rolls, fruit

Lunch at Noon : Subs
Catered Buffet by Diana Hagen: rolls, beef brisket, broasted chicken, salad, green beans, corn, sheet cake (1/2 choc., ½ white).   6:00 p.m.    No host bar at the Events Room of Newberry's

A tour of the new Alliance National Veteran's Cemetery   

A tour of the Knight Museum  from 10 am to 5 pm
A tour of the Sallows Military Museum from 1 pm to 5 pm

Underground Tour of Alliance depends on sale of bldg. TBA

Sunday: casual dress code  10:00 am
Brunch at Hoffhaus (hosted by Rosa Lee Cornette Hoff), 508 East Fourth

A block of rooms will be reserved at the Holiday Inn for the Class of ’61. – 10 w/2 Queen Beds and 10 w/ King Bed The cost per room: $109.99.  Deadline for reserving one of the block rooms at the Holiday Inn is July 19   Rooms are also available but not reserved at Day’s Inn - $79.95, AmericInn - $55.95, and Sunset Motel.    Deadline for getting your information in for the booklet will be July 15, 2011 

Denny has offered to let anyone with an RV park in his business lot. (Until it’s full)  511 W. 3^rd.  Call Denny at 308-762-2991 to reserve a spot.
