According to her son, Philip, she was ready and went peacefully in her sleep.

Below is the information in our 50th class reunion booklet.  Lucille's son, Philip Padelio, was very helpful in getting this information to me ~ he even snapped a current picture of his mom for the reunion booklet (taken in 2011).

C ~ Jonathan, 37; Philip, 34

      I have been married to Colin for 48 years.  Colin was a massage technician and cooked in restaurants.  He had triple bypass surgery @ age 38 and still has health issues.  I am pretty healthy, just blood pressure medicine ~ and a flu shot this year that didn’t seem to help at all.  My oldest son Jonathan is a very gifted musician (plays any instrument he wants including flute, clarinet, harmonica and the keyboard).  He and his brother have a band together.  My youngest son Philip owns his own auto mechanic business in Denver ~ Smooth Ride Auto Repair ~ he is the best auto mechanic around.  I keep myself going by working for Pizza Hut (since 1995) three days a week ~ keeps my mind active.  I have very good memories of everyone in our class.  One of my brothers was married to Dyna Taylor Kozal’s sister.
