In the fall after graduation, I attended nursing school in Alliance and became licensed in 1962. I married my high school sweetheart, Neil Pryor, in 1963. He was in the US Navy. After his discharge in 1964, we resided in Alliance. We were blessed with three sons, Neil, Phillip, and Lorin. We made our living in the food service business for many years. Neil became terminally disabled in 1988 and died in 1995. We were married 32 years. I returned to school and graduated from WNCC in 1998 with an Associate of Arts degree. Gerontology nursing was my passion and I worked in this field for a number of years. I continue to work, part time, in Rapid City in a clinic setting. In February of 1998, I married Lou Riemenschneider from Rapid City. He was a Professor from the School of Mines and Technology and head of the Electrical Engineering Department for many years. He retired in the spring and we did some traveling in our motor home. We moved to Alliance in 2002. We enjoyed nearly eight years together before his death in 2005 from complications of diabetes. I moved back to Rapid City in 2007. I enjoy the Black Hills and two of my sons and one step-son live here and grandchildren. I am very active in my church life at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, a member of DOK (Daughters of the King), Sons of Norway, and I am also a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star in Alliance. I have had two great trips in the past few years. I went to Ireland in 2007 and Norway in 2010. I have been blessed with a loving family, great friends, and my canine friend, Buddy. They all mean the world to me. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our 50th class reunion.
