PAM SCHNELL, 66
Pamela Lyn Schnell, 66, of rural Scottsbluff, formerly of Alliance, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Scottsbluff.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Alliance.
She was born Feb. 11, 1943, at Alliance to Ward J and Mildred Lou Hall. She attended school and graduated from Alliance High School in 1961.
On Nov. 11, 1961, she married Fred A. Schnell. They made their home in Alliance. Four daughters were born to them: Trudy, Jennifer, Katie and Nicki.
Pam moved to Scottsbluff in 1996. She enjoyed spending time painting and reading. She especially enjoyed being a classroom "grandma" at Lake Alice School.
She is survived by her daughters Trudy Schnell and friend Mardell Grob-Berck of Scottsbluff, Katie and Keith Carter, grand daughters Krista and Dani Carter of Alliance, Nicki and Andrew Orser, granddaughter Isabella and grandson Anderson Orser of Davis, Calif.; grandson Kel Komarek and his sister Megan of Mitchell; sister Sue Lehl of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Sarah, her parents and her brother Jon.
