According to Linda's daughter, Jody, there will not be a memorial service at this time.  Linda wanted her memorial to be in Alaska after cremation.  Linda's family will have a memorial in Alaska in July (Linda's birth month).


Note from Jody (Linda's daughter.  Linda lived next door to Jody in Hale Center, Texas). 


"Mom passed on December 27, 2010. She was a wonderful mom of four. two boys and two girls. At one time, she lived in Alaska and loved it there.   That is why we will have her memorial in Alaska. My brother who lives in Alaska will find the right place. I will fly up to Alaska with my other brother in July.    Mom was sure looking forward to going to Nebraska next year, but God had other plans.   I will miss her dearly."

Linda's children ~ Marlin (oldest), Jody, Morgan, and Shannon (youngest).  Linda also had 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She passed at the age of 67 following the death of her parents and two brothers and two sisters.

Glenda Harvey and Sharon Phillip both had fun, positive phone conversations with Linda in the last six months.  Linda was looking forward to the reunion in Alliance.  Jody, her daughter, was going to bring her to the reunion because Linda no longer drove.  Linda did attend the 45th class reunion in Alliance in 2006.  Sharon, Linda, and Jody had fun corresponding back and forth for a few months about the reunion.
